Chairman | Bill Griffin
Bill Griffin is a lifelong resident of Athens and is President/CEO of Fresh Frozen Foods, a major supplier of frozen vegetables throughout the United States and the Carribean. Fresh Frozen Foods employs 150 people and operates two facilities, both in Georgia. The company's headquarters, distribution center, and repack facility is located in Jefferson. Fresh Frozen's facility in Thomasville processes a wide variety of products, many of which are grown on Georgia farmland. Bill is the immediate past chair of the Clarke County GOP and among many accomplishments during his tenure was orchestrating a 2010 debate of gubernatorial candidates in Athens that was broadcast on statewide television and radio. He has had several columns published and has spoken at various conservative events. Bill also served in the United States Army for four years and Georgia National Guard for an additional seven years. He grew up in Jefferson, Georgia and studied at Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii and the University of Georgia in Athens. Bill has been married for 30 years and has three sons all of which currently live in Athens.

y returned to Athens after living in Jacksonville, FL for over 30 years. Larry is President/CEO of Paul Davis Restoration of NE Georgia, a company that specializes in water and storm damage, fire and smoke damage, mold remediation and reconstruction of damaged properties. Larry is a licensed contractor and a licensed CPA with the State of Georgia. Larry is a native Georgian and graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in accounting. After UGA, he worked in the tax department of a large textile company in New York City. While there, he was enrolled in St. Johns University’s Masters of Taxation Program. He moved back to Athens and worked for an Athens CPA firm and passed the CPA examination; moved to Columbus, GA working in the tax department at Ernst & Ernst then moved to Jacksonville, FL and was manager of the tax department of Ernst and Whinney (successor of Ernst & Ernst). Opened up private accounting practice and owned or was part owner in several business ventures in Jacksonville as well as serving as CFO of medical imaging company. Larry published an article on Internal Controls in an ABA publication entitled Bar Financial Management - A Basic Guide. He has also conducted numerous seminars for clients on tax planning and tax laws. Larry served on the Executive Committee Clarke County GOP.
Lori Bone has been an Athens resident for the past 16 years. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Lori has been married to her husband Mark for 7 years. She and her husband co-own and operate a small business in Athens. Mrs. Bone is an elementary school teacher, currently teaching 4th grade. Lori has received several honors for teaching including County Teacher of the Year and being named a top ten finalist for Georgia State Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Bone has volunteered with many local organizations. A lifelong Republican, Lori decided to increase her involvement in the local GOP during the last election cycle. Since then, she has worked on several campaigns and devoted countless hours to grassroots organizing and recruiting. Treasurer | Ryan Hunt
Ryan Hunt has been an Athens resident for 10 years and holds degrees in Physics and Biological Engineering from the University of Georgia. Ryan has published five peer-review research articles on various aspects related to algae biotechnology and has filed for four patents related to algae production and product conversion. Ryan serves as the Director of Research and Development for ALGIX and is responsible for technology development and deployment and manages the company's Bogart office. ALGIX is a bioplastic company that produce plastic feedstock and resin out of algae biomass for sustainable and durable plastic products. In addition, Ryan is helping launch two other start up companies focusing on LED-based technology for horticultural grow lights as well as developing an intensive aquaponic facility for fresh, local and sustainable seafood for the Athens and Atlanta fish markets. Ryan is raising his family of four on the east side of town where his wife works as research staff at the University
